In conjunction with the “calm” all over Daraa, the regime forces enter two new towns and approach the Syrian – Jordanian border and the official crossing
Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued calm in Daraa Province, amid targeting by the regime forces violated the calm of the province, where the artillery and rocket shelling targeted places in Tafas area in the northwestern countryside of Daraa, coincided with this the regime forces entering 4 towns in the eastern countryside of Daraa on Tuesday, the 3rd of July 2018, which are Kahil, Western al-Gharya after entering al-Msifra and al-Sahwa, extending their scope of control in the province and in the eastern section, getting closer to Nasib border crossing and the border between Syria and Jordan, where the regime forces seek to impose their control over the entire east of Daraa via “reconciliations”.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today morning, Tuesday that negotiations continue between the Russians and the representatives of the factions operating in Daraa, in order to reach a solution about the future of Daraa Province, where the continuation of negotiations comes in conjunction with the continuation of cautious calm in fronts of Daraa Province since midnight of yesterday, amid the continued absence of warplanes and helicopters from the sky of Daraa Province since 48 hours ago, when they bombarded Tafas town by more than 22 raids, where the only round of aerial bombardment on Daraa was about 60 hours ago, where the Syrian Observatory has not monitored a raid in 60 hours on any of the towns and villages of Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored the entry of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them to several towns and villages, like al-Msifra and al-Sahweh which had joined the “reconciliation”, that provides for the entry of local police forces and not to be entered by the regime forces.
The Syrian Observatory published on the 1st of July 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of negotiations between the Russians and between representatives of towns of the eastern countryside of Daraa, where the talks and consultations have achieved new progress through consensus with the representatives of the towns of Bosra Al-Sham and Al-Jiza, where the agreement is based on handing over the heavy and medium weapons and maintaining the light weapons, raising the regime’s flag on the government institutions and centers and reactivating them, thus, Bosra Al-Sham and Al-Jiza join the towns which are included in a similar agreement which took place on Al-Kahil, Al-Musayfirah and Al-Sahweh, after the regime forces managed to take the control of the towns of the Western Al-Gharya, the Eastern Al-Gharya, Um Walad, Al-Karak Al-Sharqi and the hills near the area, Al-Hrak, Al-Sorah, Alma, Rakham, Bosr Al-Harir, Maliha Al-Atash, Eastern Mleha Western Mleha and Al-Lajat area.
This advancement by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them expanded their scope of control in Daraa province, where the regime forces managed to expand their scope of control to about 58% of the total area of Daraa province, where 3 military powers are located, the first is the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, the second is the rebel and Islamic factions, and the third is Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which pledges allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, where the latter is on control of 6.6 % of the area of Daraa province, after the death of hundreds of citizens, members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them and fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions, since the start of escalating the shelling on the 19th of June 2018.
