More than 600 airstrikes target Daraa Province in 15 hours of the return of the hysterical shelling

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the intensive aerial and missile shelling with hundreds of intense airstrikes since more than 15 hours continue, where the Russian warplanes, regime’s warplanes, and the regime forces are targeting cities and towns of Daraa Province, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights since midnight of yesterday until now has monitored intense airstrikes by the warplanes, targeted al-Taybah, Saida, Om al-Mayathen, al-Yadudeh, in addition to Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, in conjunction with dropping barrel bombs by helicopters on Daraa al-Balad in the city and on al-Yadudeh town, also this hysterical aerial bombardment is accompanied by violent and intense missile strikes carried out by the regime forces on the above mentioned areas, raising the number of airstrikes that targeted the countryside of Daraa and Daraa city to more than 600 airstrikes between raids and barrel bombs that targeted the province over the past 15 hours, in addition to hundreds of shells and missiles that targeted the same areas during these hours, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday night that despite the continued efforts which aim to resume the negotiations between representatives of Daraa province and the Russian side, the violent and hysterical aerial and ground shelling has been still continuing by the regime forces and the regime’s warplanes as well as the Russian warplanes, for more than 5 hours, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling by hundreds of missiles and artillery and rocket shells as well as bombardment by more than 320 airstrikes by warplanes and helicopters affiliated to the regime and Russia, on areas in Daraa province, where the regime forces shelled areas in Daraa city by missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with bombardment by helicopters on the same areas, while shells fell on the regime’s controlled areas in Daraa Al-Mahatta, which caused material damage, without information about injuries, also the warplanes targeted areas in Tafas town in the north-western countryside of Daraa by tens of raids, along with intensive bombardment by the regime’s helicopters and the violent shelling by the regime forces by missiles and artillery shells on the town, which caused material damage, while clashes continued between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, in areas in the vicinity of Tell Al-Samn and the vicinity of Tafas area, within hit-and-run clashes between the both parties which were accompanied by exchange of targeting on the contact lines between them, while the SOHR monitored the fall of more human losses in the ranks of the regime forces as a result of the shelling and clashes, where it rose to at 131, the number of casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them who have been killed since the 19th of June 2018, the date of starting the regime’s military operation in Daraa countryside, also it rose to 92 at least, the number of fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions who were killed in the same period, as a result of the aerial and rocket shelling and clashes.

And in the eastern countryside of Daraa, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored bombardment by airstrikes by warplanes and helicopters which targeted areas in the towns of Al-Naimah, Al-Yadudah, Om al-Mayathen, Sayda and Al-Tayba, in conjunction with shelling by the regime forces by rocket and artillery shells on areas in the towns of Al-Naimah, Al-Yadudah and Sayda, which caused further material damage and injured several persons, amid information about the death of one of them in Al-Yadudah town, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that it monitored that the Russian warplanes started their bombardment on Daraa, days after their absence from the air space of Daraa province, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory; the Russian warplanes started to carry out their raids targeting areas in Sayda town which is located in the eastern countryside of Daraa, as well as other areas in Tafas town in the north-western countryside of Daraa, 4 days after absence of the Russian warplanes from the skies of the province, without carrying out any targeting to the province, while the bombardment by the Russian warplanes is coincided with bombardment by helicopters on areas in Sayda town, amid artillery shelling by the regime forces on places in the areas of Sayda and Al-Tayba, which caused further material damage to the property of the citizens and to the infrastructure, and the warplanes are still flying over the area amid fears of escalating the bombardment and resulting in killing more Syrian citizens after the death of 143 citizens including 26 children and 30 women, the number of people who were killed since the 19th of June 2018, who were killed in the raids, intense rocket and artillery shelling and raids by the Russians and regime’s warplanes on Daraa Province, and in mine explosion.
