After more the displacement of more than 10000 people, Jaysh Ibn Khalid al-Walid prevents civilians from displacing and ignite resentment of people who are afraid of a military operation in the area

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of displacement of the civilians from their homes, villages, and towns in Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa, local sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the resentment increases among the residents who wish to displace out of fear of a military operation in the area, which is controlled by Jaysh Ibn Khalid al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, and this resentment comes as a result of prevent civilians by Jaysh Ibn Khalid al-Walid from getting out of its controlled areas, where the Organization is now preventing people from getting out of its areas after the exit of more than 10000 persons -including thousands of children and women- towards the countryside of Al-Quneitra and the borders with the occupied Syrian Golan, and people are afraid of the start of a military operation by the regime forces or the Russians against Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid, after the regime forces reached the contact lines with Jaysh Ibn Khalid al-Walid in Yarmouk Basin, after the regime forces expanded on the border with Jordan.

The Syrian Observatory published last night that the displacement of Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa continues towards other areas in the Syrian south, and in the details that were monitored by the Syrian Observatory for human rights: it rose to more than 10000, the number of people who have been displaced during the past 24 hours from areas controlled by Jaysh Ibn Khalid al-Walid –which swore allegiance to for the “Islamic State” organization–, in Yarmouk Basin west of Daraa which includes about 16 villages and towns, they are: Sahem al-Golan, Beit Ara, Koya, Ma’araba, Naf’aa, al-Shajra, Jellin, Jomla, Adwan, al-Shabraq, Tasil, Ein Thakar and other villages in the area, towards areas on the border with the occupied Syrian Golan and other areas of the countryside of Daraa and Al-Quneitra, fearing the start of a military operation against Jaysh Ibn Khalid al-Walid which controls about 250 square kilometers, about 6.6% of Daraa Province, while several reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the displaced people are suffering a tragic humanitarian situation like the lack of food, medical aid, and the great shortage of housing and shelters, even tents.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the return of large numbers of displaced people to their towns and villages where they have been displaced. Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the number of returnees reached more than 200000 civilians, where the overwhelming majority of those who were on the Syrian – Jordanian border have returned to their villages and towns, which have witnessed large and extensive looting operations carried out by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them for the citizens properties of furniture, automobiles, cattle, and other property, and the Syrian Observatory learned that some towns where the displaced population was reluctant to return have returned after the Russians gave guarantees that the regime will not interfere with them. And in the same context, it is expected that the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them continue their deployment at the border areas, until reaching points of contact with Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore “allegiance” to the “Islamic State” Organization.
