Continuous arrests in al-Busayrah town east of Euphrates River after extensive raids by SDF

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Syria Democratic Forces continue arresting former military members of the “Islamic State” Organization and other military factions and parties, where sources of the Syrian Observatory confirmed that the Syria Democratic Forces arrested during their extended operation in al-Busayrah town a former commander in al-Nukhba Forces, and 2 former members of al-Baath party, in addition to arresting other former members of the “Islamic State” Organization, after an extensive operation carried out by the Syria Democratic Forces since Monday, the 9th of July 2018, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 7th of July 2018 that that  the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a state of alertness and tension prevailing Al-Busayrah town in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, as a result of a raid and searching by the Syria Democratic Forces in Al-Busayrah town, in search for sleeper cells of the “Islamic State” organization and others believed to be accused of relating to the bombing which hit Al-Busayrah town on Friday the 6th of July 2018, where the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that it documented the death of at least 19 persons, they are 8 civilians including 4 children and 11 members of the Syria Democratic Forces including a commander of a regiment; as a result of the booby trapped vehicle attack on the water station, which is considered a headquarters of the Syria Democratic Forces and in which regular meetings are held, and reliable sources confirmed that the bombing targeted the leader after he left a meeting at the station.

This explosion comes within a series of bombings that targeted Syria Democratic Forces through detonating vehicles, booby trapped vehicles, and IEDs in checkpoint and sites in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in conjunction with targeting others by shooting, following the raid, search, and arrest operations carried out by the Syria Democratic Forces in several towns and villages in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor including al-Busayrah town, were the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 29th of June 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the Syria Democratic Forces are continuing their searching in areas in the eastern countryside, in search for people accused of belonging to “sleeper cells”, affiliated to the “Islamic State” organization, where the SDF carried out today dawn, a searching campaign in the town of Al-Jarzai Al-Sharqi, east of the Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, accompanied by arrests against former members of the organization, in addition to people who are accused of “weapon trafficking” of who keep in touch with the regime forces and their allies, and this campaign of searching and arrests in Al-Jarzai Al-Sharqi town, comes in the wake of earlier campaign targeted several areas in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, that tensions continue to prevail in the villages and towns of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, between people of the area and between the Syria Democratic Forces, against the backdrop of a curfew in several areas and carrying out raids and inspections for hundreds of houses in villages and towns of Thiban, al-Hawayej, Gharanij, al-Busayrah, Abriha, and al-Zerr in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, intersected source confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that in these raids about 50 people were arrested and taken to unknown destinations, where arrests were carried out against the backdrop of charges by the Syria Democratic Forces of belonging to “sleeper cells and al-Nukhba Forces”, and tens of light and medium weapons were confiscated, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published on the 26th of June 2018 that the tension prevails al-Al-Shuhayl area in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, between the Syria Democratic Forces -who control the town- and between its inhabitants, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights from reliable sources: the tension came against the backdrop of arrests by the Syria Democratic Forces led by commander of Deir Ezzor Military Council known as Abu Khawla, for more than 65 people in al-Al-Shuhayl town on charge of “belonging to sleeper cells and al-Nukhba Forces”, after the series of bombings and assassinations of SDF members in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor east of Euphrates River, and local sources confirmed that people from al-Al-Shuhayl town carried out demonstration against the forces that raided the town after they finished sweeping, and they closed the roads just before midnight of yesterday, as a resentment of the events in al-Al-Shuhayl town, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published 3 days ago that al-Shuhayl town which is under the control of the Syria Democratic Forces east of Deir Ezzor, is witnessing break ins by the Syria Democratic Forces since the morning of Sunday, the 24th Sunday of June 2018, amid brining reinforcements to the town in conjunction with the curfew imposed by the Syria Democratic Forces in the town after the assassinations that targeted members of the Syria Democratic Forces.
