A gunman assassinates the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son during storming the latter’s house in order to assassinate him in Idlib city

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the city of Idlib and its vicinity witnessed a state of alertness by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in search for a cell which assassinated the family of an Uzbek commander in the city, where intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham has arrested a person who is accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization, and directed accusations against him of killing the wife of the Uzbek commander and his son, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the member which is descended from the Syrian south, has confessed that he was ordered to assassinate Abu Salah Al-Uzbiki, where he lived with him in the same building, and when he entered his house to kill him, he did not find him so he killed his wife and his son then he escaped, this assassination comes as a part of the series of the security chaos in the Syrian North, amid the inability of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions which are in control of Idlib, to control the security in the province, also a fighter of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham died affected by the injury he had as a result of an IED explosion in a vehicle he was traveling in, on Idlib – Al-Mastumah Road in Idlib countryside, about 2 weeks ago.

And with the fall of more casualties it rose to 219, the number of people who were assassinated in Idlib countryside and both Aleppo and Hama countryside, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 49 civilians including 8 children and 3 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 144 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 24 fighters of Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways since the 26th of April 2018, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published days ago that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham arresting a commander defected of the “Islamic State” organization, he is Jordanian nationality commander and he moved to the ranks of jihadist organizations within Syria about 5 years ago, where in recent weeks information about his disappearance was spread following his announcement of defection, because he accused the Organization of asking people to arbitrate the Sharia of ALLAH and not applying it to itself, and because of the corruption of judges and officials in the Organization, and the fact that they were not judging by the rules of ALLAH as a result of being under the control of the security services of the Organization, and the sources confirmed that the leader was arrested in al-Dana area in the northern countryside of Idlib near the Syrian – Iraqi border.
