After controlling about 84% of Daraa province through clashes and reconciliations, the regime forces control Daraa city entirely

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of the Russian military police accompanied by members of the regime police to areas of controlled by the factions in Daraa city, where the internationally-recognized Syrian flag was raised inside the city, and with that, the regime forces were able for the first time since 2011 to control of the entire city of Daraa, after being able to control about 84% of the area of Daraa Province, either through the military operations which were started on the 19th of June 2018, or via “reconciliations and situation settlements” agreements between representatives of the towns and villages which have been added to regime forces’ controlled areas in the countryside of Daraa, while there are villages and towns that still holding consultations between their representatives and between the regime forces, to reach an agreement similar to other areas in the province.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that areas in the western countryside of Daraa are witnessing the return of displaced families and the entry of the regime forces to them, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of groups of the regime forces to Tafas town in the western countryside of Daraa, after a “reconciliation and situation settling” agreement took place between the regime forces and the Russians and between the factions operating in the area, while the entry of the regime forces coincided with the return of hundreds of displaced people of Tafas to Abtaa, Dael, their vicinity, and other areas in the countryside of Daraa, after the regime forces were able yesterday to add Tafas to its controlled areas.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new advancement by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the western countryside of Daraa, where they imposed their control of the strategic hill of al-Ashari, after the entry of vehicles of the military police Tafas hours ago, where the Syrian Observatory published that military police vehicles entered Tafas town in the western countryside of Daraa, after a “reconciliation” agreement took place between the factions and representatives of Tafas town and between the Russians and the regime, where the town, its surroundings, and the nearby hills have become within the regime forces’ controlled areas, and the heavy weapon will be handed over during the coming hours or days by the rebel and Islamic factions operating in the area, and by this agreement the regime forces were able to reach the contact line with Khaled Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, after they had one contact line from the side of Hayt town at the Syrian – Jordanian border.
