About 4 km away of the disengagement line in al-Golan, violent clashes between the regime and the factions which refuse to agree with it in conjunction with an insane shelling

The sound of explosions are still shaking the northwestern countryside of Daraa with a part of Al-Quneitra countryside , as a result of violent clashes since the dawn of today Sunday the 15th of July 2018, where the violent clashes continue between the regime forces supported by gunmen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, after an attack by the regime forces which was prepared for in the past days, after the factions of Muthallath al-Mawt (triangle of death) rejected the agreement with the regime forces and the failure of the regime forces to control the entire area, while the Syrian Observatory monitored shelling by about 850 shells since the dawn of today until the moment, targeted Aqraba, Kafr Nasej, al-Tiha, al-Mal, Tal al-Mal in the northwestern countryside of Daraa and MasHara town in the mid-sector countryside of Al-Quneitra.

The violent clashes between both parties are taking place about 4 km away from the disengagement area between the countryside of Quneitra and the occupied Syrian Golan, while the shelling caused heavy material losses, damage, and destruction in the property of citizens and the infrastructure of the area, which had witnessed during the past years violent clashes between the regime forces, their Iranian allies, the Lebanese Hezbollah, and the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities; against the rebel and Islamic factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and the sources confirmed that the factions operating in the area have brought reinforcements to the combat locations, to prevent the advancement of the regime forces and break first lines of defense, and the violent clashes were accompanied by intense and exchange of targeting in the fighting areas, which caused injuries and casualties in the ranks of both parties, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of at least 5 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, while at least 3 fighters of the factions were killed.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday Saturday that the province of Daraa is witnessing continuation of the negotiations and consultations to reach a final solution about Al-Harrah town and its strategic hill which is the highest hill in Daraa province, and which the regime forces lost their control on it in early October 2014, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the continuation of negotiation about the entry of the regime forces to Nawa city, the raising of the regime’s flags and the return of the government institutions to work in the city which is the last one out of the regime’s control, and the advancement of the regime forces will manage them to encircle the enclave which is under the control of Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which pledges allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, in the west of Daraa, after the handover of weapons in Daraa city, Inkhil city, Jasim town and other areas in Daraa countryside, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that logistic procedures are still obstructing the start of displacing those who refuse the agreement with the regime and the Russians, where it is expected that the first batch will be displaced from Daraa to the Syrian north in the next 48 hours.
