After failing to break the siege of both towns, Iranian Forces confiscate weapons of fighters of al-Fu’ah and Kafriya upon their arrival in Aleppo

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for human rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the exchange of buses which are entering and leaving from and to areas controlled by the regime forces and the opposition is almost completed, as buses continue to enter within the last batch from al-Fu’ah and Kafriya towards areas controlled by the regime in Aleppo, after passing through al-Eis – al-Hadir crossing, in exchange for the entry of buses of the detainees carrying hundreds of them, of who were released under the Russian – Turkish agreement, and it is expected in the coming hours for the bus exchange to be completed, while it is expected that abductees of Ishtabraq town –who were captured by the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham– to be released, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Iranian Forces are confiscating the weapons of fighters of al-Fu’ah and Kafriya towns, as they arrive at the sheltering center in Jabrin area.

The Syrian Observatory published this morning that  more than 120 buses carrying at least 6900 persons have departed from al-Fu’ah and Kafriya in 3 batches, which lasted from midnight of yesterday to the dawn of today, the 19th of July, where the buses have departed towards al-Eis crossing in the southern countryside of Aleppo, which connects the areas that are controlled by the faction with regime forces’-controlled areas, and the Syrian Observatory learned that all buses have arrived at al-Eis crossing from the side that is controlled by the factions, and an exchange process is taking place between both parties, where the buses are consecutively entering al-Hadir area which is controlled by the regime forces; and at the same time vehicles are entering al-Eis crossing carrying detainees of who were in the prisons of the regime forces, according to the previously concluded agreement, and the Syrian Observatory’s reliable sources also reported that several buses were hit by stones while passing through Taftanaz area, but no information about casualties, also ambulances carrying injuries and ill people had left the towns at midnight of yesterday, while the fate of tens of abductees of Ishtabraq town who are detained by the rebel and Islamic factions is still unknown.
