Hundreds of families continue to displace from areas of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid in Yarmouk Basin in conjunction with the decrease of pace of the aerial and missile shelling on the area

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the air strikes by the Russian warplanes and by the helicopters continue on Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa, at a clearly decreased rate than before, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the warplanes and helicopters carrying out more than 32 air strikes since midnight of yesterday until now, on towns controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization in the area, in conjunction with shelling by rocket shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground by the regime forces on Yarmouk Basin, and in the same context, the displacement continues from the areas that are controlled by Jaysh Khalid towards areas controlled by the regime forces, where more than 400 families had displaced in the past 24 hours, leaving about 8000 civilians living in difficult humanitarian situation under heavy aerial and missile bombardments and shelling, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday Sunday that it monitored the displacement of at least 20000 civilians in the past 24 hours from areas controlled by Jaysh Khalid towards areas controlled by the regime forces through Hayt – Amuriyyah corridor.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday Sunday, that  it monitored targeting by squadrons of Russian warplanes by more than 690 airstrikes to towns and villages controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, in Yarmouk Basin, since after the midnight of Saturday – Sunday and until now, raising to about 1900 at least, the number of raids which have targeted the towns and villages of Tasil, Hayt, Saham Al-Golan, Jilin, Adwan, Jilin, Al-Shajara, the Libyan Company, Tal Al-Jumou’ and other areas in Yarmouk Basin, since the 19th of July 2018, and the intensive airstrikes were accompanied by shelling by hundreds of artillery and rocket shells, and shelling by missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, on the same areas, which caused further destruction to the property of the citizens and to the infrastructure, and forced thousands of citizens to displace towards areas beyond the control of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid escaping from the intensive shelling.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored ongoing violent clashes between the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them against Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, in places in the vicinity of the area of Tal Al-Jumou’ and other places in areas controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid in Yarmouk Basin, and the clashes which were accompanied by detonating bobby trapped vehicles, exchange of targeting and aerial and ground shelling by the regime forces on the positions of Jaysh Khalid, resulted in the fall of a large number of human losses in the ranks of the both parties, where the SOHR has documented the death of 36 members at least of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, also at least 53 members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, were killed, while tens of members in the ranks of the both parties were injured with varying severity, without information about casualties, where the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions in the ranks of the both parties, while the SOHR documented the death of 37 citizens including 11 children and 3 citizen women as well as the injury of tens others, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the displacement of at least 20000 civilians within the last 24 hours from areas controlled by Jaysh Khaled to regime forces’-controlled areas through the Hayt – Amuriyyah corridor, leaving about 10000 civilians in the area living unknown fate in the face of continued deterioration of humanitarian situation and the insane shelling over the area, while the Syrian Observatory published on Friday, that this intense shelling was coincided advancement by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid in the wake of the emptying factions’ controlled areas adjacent to the areas that are controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid in Yarmouk Basin, where it advanced in the areas of al-Bakkar, al-Jbyliyyeh, al-Ma’alaqa, al-Maja’eid, Ayn Zubeida, al-Abdali, Abu Hajar, and other areas adjacent to them, which expanded the size of areas controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid to about 8% of Daraa Province area, also this is the second expansion of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization in the vicinity of the Yarmouk Basin, after their controlled days ago Hayt town, following violent clashes against the rebel and Islamic factions that carried out “reconciliation” with the regime, where back then an agreement imposed on them to hand over their heavy weapons and to withdraw towards other areas in Daraa province, and these insane bombardments and shelling also come with the continuation of fears for lives of more than 30000 civilians taken as human shields by Jaysh Khalid, where the civilians continue to flee the towns which are under Russian holocaust in the area, towards border areas with the occupied Syrian Golan.
