The violent fighting continues in wells affiliated to Al-Omar Oilfield which is taken by the US forces as their military base in the east of the Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued overflight of the International Coalition’s warplanes in the skies of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, over the area of Al-Omar Oilfield and the area which is extended to the Syrian – Iraqi border, in the east of the Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes are still continuing between the Syria Democratic Forces backed by the International Coalition against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the wells of Al-Omar Oilfield, which is taken as a military base where US forces are located, and the SOHR learned that the violent clashes erupted as a result of an attack by groups of the organization on the area, in conjunction with targeting that is being carried out to Hajin area and ISIS last enclave at the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, and the clashes which were taking place between the both parties in the vicinity of Hajin town, and the outskirts of that enclave, amid confirmed information about the fact that the clashes in the well of Al-Omar Oilfield resulted in the fall of human losses in the ranks of the both parties.

And the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, that clashes are taking place in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, between the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in places in the area of Al-Bir Al-Azraq near Al-Tank Oilfield, in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, as a result of an attack by members of the organization on the area, and the SOHR monitored that the clashes were coincided with bombardment by the International Coalition’s warplanes, on the positions of the organization, amid confirmed information about human losses in the ranks of the both parties, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 20th of July 2018, that the east bank of Euphrates River is witnessing the continuation of military operation by the International Coalition; along with the beginning of displacement of people from the area, and in the details that were monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Friday, the 20th of July 2018: thousands of civilians have arrived in areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, coming from the last enclave controlled by the “Islamic State” Organization on the east bank of Euphrates River, where they were brought into areas controlled by Syria Democratic Forces, through a corridor at al-Bahra area near Hajin town, which is undergoing a military operation in order to control it, also humanitarian assistance of foodstuffs and water was distributed to the displaced people who fled the military operation in the area.
