SDF advance into the north-eastern desert of Deir Ezzor and information about holding tens of families in the area

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition managed to advance into the north-eastern desert of Deir Ezzor, and take the control of Al-Fulaytah area which is located in this desert, in addition to their control over a number of oil wells which are located in the area, and which used to be controlled by the “Islamic State” organization, while the SOHR received information from intersected sources, about the fact that the SDF are holding about 150 families the majority of them are of the families of ISIS members, within the area.

And the Syrian Observatory published on the 23rd of July 2018, that it monitored the overflight of the International Coalition’s warplanes in the skies of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, over the area of Al-Omar Oilfield and the area which is extended to the Syrian – Iraqi border, in the east of the Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes are still continuing between the Syria Democratic Forces backed by the International Coalition against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the wells of Al-Omar Oilfield, which is taken as a military base where US forces are located, and the SOHR learned that the violent clashes erupted as a result of an attack by groups of the organization on the area, in conjunction with targeting that is being carried out to Hajin area and ISIS last enclave at the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, and the clashes which were taking place between the both parties in the vicinity of Hajin town, and the outskirts of that enclave, amid confirmed information about the fact that the clashes in the well of Al-Omar Oilfield resulted in the fall of human losses in the ranks of the both parties.
