ISIS lost more than 130 jihadists in southwest Syria

At least 133 Islamic State jihadists were killed, more than 300 others injured so far during battles with the Syrian Army in southwest Syria, a monitoring group said.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated it has also documented the death of 59 Army soldiers as the government attempts to recapture the last insurgent-held territories in the western countryside of Daraa.

SOHR added that most of ISIS casualties occurred in the northern front-lines where the SAA’s elite Tiger Forces are making steady advance, as well as due to the heavy artillery and airstrikes conducted by both Syrian and Russian air force.

The monitoring group predicted the fall of ISIS in southwest Syria soon, given the rapid advance made by the government forces.
