Despite the calls of the abducted women of Al-Suwaidaa to stop the military operation…the regime forces continue their aerial and ground shelling along with their ongoing attack on Yarmouk Basin

Daraa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in Yarmouk Basin were subjected to more aerial and ground shelling, along with the continued clashes in the area, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the regime’s helicopters dropped explosive barrels on areas in Abbdyn town and other areas in Yarmouk Basin, amid artillery and rocket shelling on places in the outskirts of the controlled areas of Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which pledges allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, while the clashes are continuing between the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them against the members of Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which pledges allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, without information about casualties.

This continued fighting comes in the wake of a video that was broadcasted by the organization, where it showed one of the women who were abducted from the villages of Al-Suwaidaa countryside, sending a massage, where Soad Adib Abu Ammar called in the video, on the Syrian regime President Bashar al-Assad, and the media Millionaire Kinanah Hwyja, to implement the conditions of the organization, which provided the release of captives and detainees of the organization or of those who are related to it, and stopping the military campaign on Yarmouk Basin, in the western sector of Daraa countryside, and the woman warned in the video that the organization will execute them if these conditions are not implemented, and this video escalated the resentment that prevails Al-Suwaidaa countryside, where a state of anger and rage is prevailing with a cautious anticipation, for the reaction of the regime authorities to the conditions of the organization, through which the organization put the regime in an impasse, especially after it connected the implementation of the conditions to the lives of the abducted women, while the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that al-Suwaidaa province is witnessing widespread resentment due to the abductions of citizens and female citizens from the countryside al-Suwaidaa by the “Islamic State” organization, and this resentment is accompanied by the rise of fears for the lives of people who were abducted from the attacked villages, including a large number of female citizens, who are feared to be executed by ISIS, also Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 255 persons who were killed as a result of the attacks by the “Islamic State” organization on Al-Suwaidaa city and its eastern and north-eastern countryside on Wednesday, they are 142 citizens including 38 women and children, and 113 gunmen most of them are of the people of the countryside of Al-Suwaidaa province, who took up arms to rebel the violent and surprising attack of the “Islamic State” organization, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored that the number of casualties in the ranks of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in this violent attack on Al-Suwaidaa countryside and Al-Suwaidaa city, reached 63 members including 7 suicide bombers who blew themselves up in the city and in its countryside, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored that Pro-regime gunmen have hanged up a member of the organization, local sources said that he was detained during the arrival of his body in a hospital in Al-Suwaidaa city, where he was executed and his body was hanged up in the city, amid a crowd of tens of citizens in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored in the past few hours, that that the organization managed to regain the control of Nafa’ah town after counter attacks and intensive exchange of targeting, between the conflicting parties, then the regime forces absorbed the attack and carried out a new attack which caused their advancement, while the clashes are still continuing in the vicinity of the town, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored that ongoing aerial and ground shelling targeted the controlled areas of Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, in Yarmouk Basin in the western sector of Daraa countryside, while the violent clashes resulted in the fall of more casualties in the ranks of both parties, where it rose to at least 238, the number of casualties of the members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, who have been killed since the 19th of July 2018, the date of starting the regime’s operation against Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed, also it rose to 73 at least, the number of casualties of the members and officers of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, who were killed in the same period, while the SOHR published on Thursday night, that the regime forces’ military operations is continuing within the remaining narrow circle of Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which pledges allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, in the area of Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa, where the clashes are continuing between the both parties in places in the area, in ongoing attacks by the regime forces in order to end the presence of Jaysh Khaled in the area, after rapid advancements since yesterday, Wednesday, which enabled the regime forces to take the control of more than 26 towns and villages, while only 7 towns and villages are remaining for Jaysh Khaled, thus, the regime forces became in control of an area of about 98% of the total area of Daraa, while Jaysh Khaled controls about 2% of the area of the province.
