With aerial and artillery support, the regime forces continue their attacks to end the presence of an ISIS-loyal army west of Daraa

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the aerial and missile bombardment and shelling continue on the areas that still under the control of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, in Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the helicopters dropping barrel bombs on places in al-Shajra, Abdeen, Al-Qusayr, and Beit Ara, amid intensive rocket shelling by the regime carried out on the areas itself, in conjunction with the continuation of clashes in the areas of Abdeen and al-Shajra, between Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and factions of the “reconciliation”, in continuous attempts by the regime forces to control more areas and end the presence of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization in the area. And in the same context; 7 members of Jaysh Khalid were killed while attempting to flee Yarmouk Basin area via motorcycles, where one of the activists of the Syrian Observatory in the area reported that several members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid were targeted while attempting to flee through motorcycles, and that their bodies turned into body pieces, raising to 256, the number of members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, who have been killed since the 19th of July; the date of the start of regime’s operation against Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid, also the Syrian Observatory documented the death of at least 86 members and officers of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the same period.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Sunday, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed shelling coinciding with violent fighting and the sound of violent explosions, in the western sector of Daraa countryside, where the regime’s helicopters dropped explosive barrels on the areas of Beit Arra and the towns of Abbdyn and Al-Shajara, as well as other places in the area that is still controlled by Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed, in conjunction with violent clashes that are taking place between the regime forces supported by the factions of the “reconciliation” and the militiamen loyal to them, against the members of Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which pledges allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, in the vicinity of the areas of Abbdyn and Al-Shajara, amid intensive exchange of targeting on the contact lines, along with shelling by the regime forces on places in the controlled areas of Jaysh Khaled, while the warplanes and helicopters targeted areas in Al-Shajara town, as a part of desperate efforts by the regime forces to achieve advancement and take the control of the town, while this operation has been continuing since this morning after hours of calm today dawn, Sunday, which escalated the pace of fears for the lives of the women of Al-Suwaidaa who were abducted by the “Islamic State” organization, which have sent warnings through one of these abductees, amid fears for the lives of the displaced people and for the lives of about 4000 persons who remained within the controlled areas of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the organization in the western sector of Daraa countryside, after the latter was subjected to direct gunfire by the regime forces which resulted in the fall of a number of wounded, also information was reported about the fall of casualties and wounded in the shelling which was carried out today evening on the western countryside of Daraa.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published yesterday that  that discontent is growing in al-Suwaidaa, as the regime continues to fail the families of the kidnapped citizens, where the regime and its Russian ally didn’t care for the fate of those people who were abducted by the “Islamic State” organization, where after hours of calm that prevailed on Sunday, the 29th of July in Yarmouk Basin area in the countryside of Daraa in which the “Islamic State” organization required the stop of military operation against it in exchange for the survival of the abductees; and that the failure to do so will result in executing them, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the return of shelling to Yarmouk Basin, in conjunction with renewed aerial and ground targeting for the eastern countryside of al-Suwaidaa, which increased the resentment and discontent against regime’s steps that will have bad consequences; as the abductees are present in the grip of the Organization, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored during the last few hours the return of escalation, where the Observatory monitored the dropping of more than 5 barrel bombs by regime’s helicopters on areas in Yarmouk Basin, in conjunction with a raid by warplanes, amid shelling by about 20 shells targeted areas in Abdeen village and other places on the outskirts of areas controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid, which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, amid skirmishes between the latter against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them on the outskirts of Yarmouk Basin.
