Mass executions carried out by the regime forces and the “reconciliation factions” in Yarmouk basin by killing 34 people and the aerial and ground shelling return as the first round of negotiations with ISIS fails

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: explosions shook the outskirts of Yarmouk basin near the border strip with the occupied Syrian Golan and the Syrian – Jordanian border in the far southern part of the province, caused by several intense and successive airstrikes by Russian warplanes on areas of presence of the remainder of members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, the intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the strikes came after the failure of the first round of negotiations with the organization to transfer about 100 of who remained of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid with about 150 “presumed captive” to the organization’s areas of presence in the desert, in exchange of the release of 30 abductees of the women and children and returning them to their families, where negotiations have been impeded amid attempts to reactivate and resume them, in order to finish them and complete the regime forces’ deployment in the entire Province of Daraa, after controlling all villages, towns, and cities, through a military operation and “reconciliations”, and the airstrikes were accompanied by artillery and missile shelling by the regime forces on the same areas.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also documented the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and members of “reconciliation factions”, killing at least 34 people of members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid, their family members, and others who were with them but it is not known if they were civilians or not; of who tried to get out towards the east of Yarmouk basin area through a crossing with the regime forces and the “reconciliation factions”, but the community sources confirmed that they were shot and executed by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, while the Syrian Observatory published this morning that the regime forces continue sweeping the areas they controlled yesterday night, Monday, in Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes between the regime forces and factions of the “reconciliation ” against members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, of who fled towards valleys near the villages of Beit Ara and Koya, after the regime forces advanced yesterday and controlled the whole areas which used to be controlled by Jaysh Khalid in Yarmouk Basin, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory: about 100 members of Jaysh Khaled fled towards valleys on the border with Jordan near Beit Ara and Koya, and the Syrian Observatory also learned that those members are taking civilians as human shields in the valleys to which they fled, while the aerial and rocket sweep continues,  where warplanes and helicopters continue to target these valleys in conjunction with rocket shelling carried out by the regime forces on the same places. And in the same context, the Syrian Observatory learned that about 60 members of Jaysh Khaled surrendered to the regime forces yesterday when the regime forces entered al-Shajra town, while the fate of the rest of the members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization is still unknown until now.
