Renewed artillery shelling by the regime forces targets several areas in the northern countryside of Hama
Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: explosions rocked areas in the northern sector of Hama countryside, caused by renewed targeting by the regime forces, by artillery and rocket shells, which targeted areas in Al-Lataminah town, causing material damage, without information about injuries, while the Syrian Observatory published today morning, that the countryside of Hama is still witnessing continuous shelling by the regime forces, where the Syrian Observatory monitored rocket shelling after midnight of yesterday, targeted places in al-Lataminah town and Latmin village in the northern countryside of Hama, also the regime forces renewed the rocket shelling this morning on places in the towns of al-Lataminah and KafrZitta north of Hama, but no information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, that the northern sector of Hama witnessed intensive shelling today, Tuesday the 31st of July 2018, where artillery shelling targeted areas in Al-Lataminah towns and its vicinity as well as places in Al-Zakah village and its vicinity, by more than 112 shells, which caused material damage, and resulted in the fall of human losses, where the SOHR documented the death of a woman and her child girl as well as the fall of a number of wounded in Al-Lataminah, thus, it rose to about 1000, the number of artillery and rocket shells which targeted the northern sector of Hama countryside in the past 24 days, where the rocket and artillery shelling targeted villages and towns in the northern countryside of Hama, such as Al-Lataminah, Kafr Zita, Hasaraya, Al-Zakah, Al-Janabrah “Al-Labbanah”, M’aarkaba, Al-Sayyad and other areas in this countryside.
Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed shelling by the regime forces, which targeted areas in the western sector of Jisr Al-Shughur countryside, where the shelling targeted areas in Maraand village, and other places in Al-Najiyeh town, which caused material damage, without information about casualties so far, while gunfire was heard in Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside, local sources said that it was caused by clashes between members of a rebel faction operating in the area against the members of a family in Al-Samakah area related to Maarrat Al-Nu’man.
