Renewed artillery targeting to the northern countryside of Hama raises the number of shells to about 1420 in a whole month

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: more explosions were heard in the northern sector of Hama countryside, caused by renewed shelling by the regime forces, which targeted areas in Kafr Zita town and its countryside, in the northern sector of Hama countryside, along with shelling which targeted places in the area of Tal Osman and al-Janabera village “al-Bana”, in the north-western sector of Hama countryside, which caused material damage, without information about injuries, raising to about 1420, the number of artillery and rocket shells that were launched by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them to, targeting areas in the northern, northeastern, and northwestern countryside of Hama during the last 30 days, where the rocket and artillery shelling targeted the villages and towns of the northern countryside of Hama such as al-Lataminah, Hasraya, Zakat, al-Janabera “al-Bana”, M’aarkbeh, al-Sayyad, Tal Osman, Hawash, and several other areas in this countryside, also it is noteworthy that these shelling -which was monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights- caused several casualties and wounded in the areas were the shells fell, also the intense shelling which varied between today and the other caused more destruction in the above-mentioned villages and towns, which had previously witnessed similar and more violent shelling, which caused considerable destruction and serious material damage to the citizens’ property, infrastructure, public, and private facilities, as well as hundreds of casualties and wounded, where the shelling increases when violent clashes or major attacks erupt between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the rebel and Islamic factions.
