Violent clashes between Syrian and Asian factions against the regime forces and their allies in Latakia mountains coincide with shelling the triangle between it and between Sahl al-Ghab and Jisr al-Shughur

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the outbreak of clashes this morning the 7th of August 2018, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the Turkestani Islamic Party and other supporting Islamic factions, in al-Sarraf area in Jabal al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Latakia, as a result of an attack by factions in the area, where the clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between both parties. These clashes –which caused confirmed casualties in the ranks of both parties- came after artillery and missile shelling by the regime forces targeted areas Jabal al-Akrad and Jabal al-Turkman, which caused material damage but no information about casualties.

In the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the renew of artillery and missile shelling by the regime forces, on areas in the western countryside of Jisr al-Shughur on the road reaching the Latakia mountains, within the Triangle of west Idlib – Lattakia mountains – Sahl al-Ghab, which caused more damage and destruction in the property of citizens, but no information about injuries yet, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the regime forces targeted areas in Bidama town which is located in the western sector of Jisr Al-Shughur countryside in the western sector of Idlib countryside, which resulted in the break out of fires in the property of the citizens, without information about resulting in fall of casualties, and this targeting came as a part of the ongoing escalation on the abovementioned triangle, where the Syrian Observatory monitored hours ago, that the explosions are still being heard in the triangle of Jisr Al-Shughur – Hama countryside – Lattakia countryside, caused by targeting by the regime forces by more of shells to areas in Al-Lataminah town and its vicinity in the northern countryside of Hama, and other areas in Zayzoun Station in Sahl Al-Ghab, in the north-western countryside of Hama, along with sporadic shelling by the regime forces on several areas in the north-eastern countryside of Lattakia and other areas in the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur, also The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that more explosions shook the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, caused by the continued shelling by the regime forces, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored targeting by the regime forces fort areas in Qarqour village and its surroundings in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama, within the triangle of Sahl al-Ghab – Lattakia – west Idlib, in conjunction with several artillery shells launched by the regime forces on areas in the vicinity of al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama.
