The southeastern sector of Idlib within the demilitarized area witnesses clashes between the regime forces and factions accompanied by ground targeting

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the outbreak of clashes in the southeastern countryside of Idlib province within the demilitarized area, which has not yet witnessed the leave of any “Jihadi” groups despite the end of the deadline, where clashes are taking place between members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against fighters of the factions operating in the area, in areas of Sham al-Hawa and Abu Omar, amid shelling by the regime forces targeted the area between al-Khwyn and al-Zarzour in the same countryside of Idlib province, and this clashes comes after a morning violation in al-Khwyn area in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, while the sources confirmed that the factions deployed in the area include Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, Jaysh al-Ahrar, and other groups.

The Syrian Observatory published this morning that the cautious calm returned to areas of the Turkish – Russian truce in Aleppo, Hama, Idlib, and Latakia since after midnight of yesterday until now, except for heavy machineguns’ fire that targeted al-Khwyn area in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, after a violent night of the heaviest shelling within the truce period, where exchange of targeting took place by tens of rocket shells in Aleppo city, its suburbs, and western countryside, which killed a person and injured 12 others with varying severity, as a result of the shells that fell on the western part of Aleppo city, and this is the first civilian casualty to be documented in bombing by the Islamic factions and the “jihadis” since Putin – Erdogan agreement on the 17th of September, and the second civilian casualty in areas of the disarmament and its surroundings, since the death of a young man in Kafr Hamra town northwest of Aleppo city on the 25th of September 2018, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday night that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed shelling that violated the Russian – Turkish truce, and interrupted the silence of the demilitarized zone, which was agreed upon after meeting between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, where the Syrian Observatory monitored today evening, Thursday the 18th of October 2018, successive explosions that rocked Aleppo city, its suburbs and its countryside, within the demilitarized area, caused by shelling witnessed in the area, within the most violent shelling monitored by the Syrian Observatory since a consensus was reached between Putin and Erdogan on the buffer area on the 17th of September 2018, where the factions operating in Aleppo city and its suburbs, have targeted by more than 32 heavy rocket shells, areas in the neighborhoods of Nile Street, Halab al-Jadidah, Jam’eyyat Al-Zahraa and Mukambo, which caused substantial material damage and resulted in the fall of several injuries, amid confirmed information about the death of a person as a result of the fall of shells, accompanied by ground shelling by a large number of heavy shells by the regime forces on areas in Kafr Hamra town, and the areas of Al-Leiramon and Al-Mansurah, in both western and north-western sectors of Aleppo city.
