The suffering of the displaced people in al-Rukban camp at the far southeastern Syrian border near Syria’s borders with Jordan, where the minimum life requirements have become a dream for residents of the camp who continue to suffer as the regime forces and their allies continue to close the roads leading to the camp, with the aim of displacing or resettling and humiliate its inhabitants, amid continuous tragic situation in the camp of food and medicine shortages, coincided with the anticipation for the completion of logistical measures that delay the arrival of the convoy which carries food and humanitarian aid, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of a child who was one year of age, due to lack of treatment and necessary medication and due to the poor health and living conditions, raising to 5, the number of people who died so far, they are: 2 women and 3 children, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 27th of October 2018 that with the volatile weather conditions, the eyes of the devastated people in al-Rokban camp at the outskirts of the Syrian Desert, are still looking at a horizon that may bring them a dose of medicine, milk, or a basket of food, instead of these sandstorms, dust storms, rains, and mud, which increased their suffering and added to their tragedy of tens of thousands of displaced people, who are trapped in tents, tortured inside, and besieged, where these displaced people are waiting for humanitarian assistance, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the aid has not yet reached al-Rokban camp in the Syria Desert near the Syrian – Jordanian border, as a result of logistical measures that have not been completed so far, and it is expected that in the next few days a batch of humanitarian and relief assistance will be delivered to the stricken people in al-Rokban camp.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 24th of October that suffering of residents of al-Rokban camp near the Syrian-Jordanian border increases, as a result of the continued close of the supply routes leading to the camp by the regime forces and their allies; as the weather continues to worsen, amid anticipation for entering food aid by international Organizations within the next hours or days, after the spreads of disease and hunger in the stricken camp, which –in addition to the severe shortage of food aid– suffers from worsening weather conditions.
