An attack by unidentified gunmen targets a security checkpoint of the regime forces in Daraa countryside

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an explosion was heard in the Eastern Karak area in the eastern countryside of Daraa, intersected sources told the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that it was caused by dropping a bomb by an unidentified gunman on a checkpoint of regime’s security forces who are positioned in the checkpoint, but no information about casualty, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a person by a landmine explosion in the vicinity of Dael town in the central countryside of Daraa; this comes within the continued explosion of remnants of military operations in Daraa province, such as planting IEDs, mines, and exploding bombs of the remnants of aerial bombardment and missile shelling earlier on Daraa Province, where a person died on the 27th of November 2018 in a landmine explosion in al-Harak town a week before his death, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 29th of November 2018 that a bomb exploded in Deir al-Adas area in the northwestern countryside of Daraa which injured several children, and in past weeks; Daraa witnessed the explosion of bombs, explosives, shells, and mines of remnants of previous military operations in the province, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 3rd of November 2018 that a former fighter of the factions which carried out “reconciliations and settlements” in Daraa province, died affected by injuries he had in a landmine explosion in a car he was riding with other fighters, who were immediately killed after the explosion in the vicinity of Dael town, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 1st of November that 2 former fighters of the factions which carried out “reconciliations and settlements” in Daraa province, were killed as a result a landmine explosion in the vicinity of Da’el town in a group of former fighters of factions that became ally forces of the regime forces after the reconciliations and settlements, the explosion also resulted in the fall of wounded that may increase the death toll, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 2 persons who were killed on Wednesday the 24th of October 2018, as well as the injury of more than 6 others, as a result of landmine explosions in Al-Tiha town in the northern countryside of Daraa city controlled by the regime forces and their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 11th of August 2018, that it monitored the death of more members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, in the explosion of a mine depot in Mahjeh town in the northern countryside of Daraa, where it rose to 9 at least including colonels, the number of members who were killed in the explosions which took place on Friday, the 10th of August 2018, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some 12 people in critical situation, raising to 10, the number of people killed in the explosion, and also raising to 15, the number of people injured in the Same circumstances, where the Syrian Observatory published that explosions shook al-Mahjeh town in the northern countryside of Daraa, the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that they were caused by a mine explosion in members of the regime forces and people were present in the area, during a transfer of mines from one of the sites of the regime forces in the town, where the explosion caused casualties and killed at least one person and 3 others were injured with varying severity as a result of these explosions.
