Russia offers to deploy border guards of the regime on the borderline between the two rivers and a delegation of SDF arrives in Moscow to discuss it and discuss the future of east Euphrates

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information that a delegation of the Syria Democratic Forces and the Russian authorities are expected to meet in Moscow in the coming hours, the sources confirmed that the delegation arrived in the Russian capital to discuss the future of east Euphrates, also the sources added that the Russians made an offer to the Syria Democratic Forces about deploying border guards of the Syrian regime, in the border area from the east of Euphrates to the Tigris River in the Syrian – Iraqi – Turkish border triangle, where the offer received preliminary approval by the Syria Democratic Forces, but the debate and discussion remain about who will manage the areas that are under the control of the Syria Democratic Forces east of Euphrates, the Syria Democratic Forces also stipulated that regular border guards should be sent, not forces in the form of the forces previously deployed in Afrin as a Popular Defense Forces, were the entire force of 91 members were killed, they were members of regime’s Popular Defense Forces and they were killed in the Turkish bombing since their entry on the 20th of February 2018, to ​​Afrin area.

The Syrian Observatory previously published that  Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources that a meeting was held on Thursday evening, the 20th of December 2018, between French leaders and the most prominent leaders of the Syria Democratic Forces, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the meeting that took place at 9 pm Thursday evening Damascus time in Ain Issa area, in the northwestern countryside of Al-Raqqah, in which both parties discussed the decision of US Forces to withdraw its forces from east of Euphrates under the Turkish military operation that Turkey is preparing for, the reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that the French told leaders of the Syria Democratic Forces that they will remain with them until the end, and they will work to provide full support for the Syria Democratic Forces of logistical equipment, weapons, and ammo…, they also said that they will seek to pressure the Americans to retreat from their decision to withdraw from Syria, and that their goal is not to leave the area empty and to continue the military operations to end the presence of the “Islamic State” organization east of Euphrates, and they aim to prevent the Iranian influence from extending to the east of Euphrates.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Thursday, that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources about a meeting held east of Euphrates, between officials of the area and leaders of the US Forces and the International Coalition, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: a meeting took place on Thursday afternoon, the 20th of December 2018, between a delegation of the democratic self-administration and the Syria Democratic Council, and between leaders of the International Coalition and officers of the US Forces in Syria, where the meeting took place in Ain Issa area in the northwestern countryside of al-Raqqa, and they discussed the future of Euphrates after the US presidential decision to withdraw its forces from the east of Euphrates area, under the Turkish threats of a large-scale military operation in the east of Euphrates area, and what the risks and the results of this operation might be which will be the result of this Turkish invasion if it took place by its forces and by thousands of fighters of the Syrian rebel and Islamic factions.
