Unidentified gunmen assassinate a commander in the National Liberation Front in Idlib countryside and others kidnap a citizen in Idlib city in the frame of the escalating security chaos there

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the security chaos is continuing within the controlled areas of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions in Idlib province and the surrounding countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that unidentified gunmen have assassinated one of the commanders of the National Liberation Front by shooting him in the east of Hish town in Idlib countryside, which killed him instantly then the gunmen escaped, while unidentified gunmen kidnapped a man in front of the place where he works in Idlib city, and reliable sources informed the SOHR that the gunmen are affiliated to one of the Jihadi factions that are in control of the city, without information about the reasons for kidnapping him or about the place to which he was taken, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that a young civil defense volunteer died after affected by a gunshot wound he had from unidentified gunmen, on the road between the towns of Kafr Naseh and KafrKarmin in the western countryside of Aleppo earlier, raising to 456 the number of people who were killed in the countryside of Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama, since the 26th of April 2018, the date of starting the security chaos to be escalated in the province, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 119 civilians including 14 children and 8 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 287 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 48 fighters of Somali, Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian, Turkish and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the Syrian Observatory monitored the finding of a body of a young man who was killed by several gunshots, in Arnaz village in the western countryside of Aleppo, but the causes and circumstances of his death remain unknown until the moment, and Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 3rd of January 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that 2 persons belong to active cells were executed within areas of control of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and around it, and in areas of control of National Liberation Front in the 4 provinces, where they were executed after “confessions” about carrying out explosions in several areas, amid information that the National Liberation Front carried out the execution, raising to 124 the number of members of ISIS and its cells who have been killed since the end of April 2018, of Syrian, Iraqi, and other non-Syrian nationalities, including at least 62 where executed by slaughtering them or directly shooting them, while the rest were killed during raids and exchange of gunfire between these cells and members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the areas of Salqin, Sarmin, Sahel al-Rouj and several other areas in the countryside of Idlib, after they were arrested previously within the campaign of arrests which targeted tens of persons on charge of these accusations, and which sometimes witnessed violent clashes between members of these cells and members of Tahrir Al-Sham, as well as the executions that used to be carried out directly, or through mass targeting to positions and headquarters of these cells, and this is the first execution to be carried out within the Russian – Turkish demilitarized area, which was specified within the Russian – Turkish agreement that recently reached.
