Squadrons of Russian and Syrian warplanes and helicopters carry out more strikes, and more than 900 air, missile, and artillery strikes are the toll of the 9th day of the heaviest escalation on the Russian – Turkish truce areas

Squadrons of Russian and Syrian warplanes and helicopters flew again in the skies of Idlib and Hama, carrying out more strikes and leaving more destruction, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Russian warplanes carrying out more raids on areas in the Tal al-Nabi Ayoub, the Regiment 46th, Ihsim, Ma’arrat al-Sin, and Ma’aret Hurmah, raising to 46, the number of raids carried out since midnight of yesterday until the moment, they are: 4 on Ihsim, 3 on the outskirts of Kafr Nubl, 2 raids on each of Sfuhen, the vicinity of Hazarin, Maarzita, al-Rakaya, the vicinity of Kafrsajna, al-Lataminah, al-Sakhr, Abdeen, outskirts of Tal al-Sheikh, Abu Habba, the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun, Tahtaya, al-Hwash, and the vicinity of the Brick Factory east of Ariha, the Regiment 46th, Ma’arrat al-Sin, Ma’aret Hurmah, Hish, and Kafr Owaid.

while it rose to 79, the number barrel bombs dropped by helicopters since the morning, they are 22 on Kafr Nabudah, 22 on al-Hbit town, 12 on Khan Shaykhun, 9 on Kabana area in Jabal al-Akrad, 4 on the outskirts of al-Tamanah Town, and 4 on the vicinity of Hish, and 2 on each of al-Naqir, Kafrsajna, and al-Sheikh Mustafa.

And regime’s warplane (Sukhoi and MiG) carried out More raids on areas in Khan Shaykhun city, Hish town, al-Hbit, and Rakaya Sajna village near it, raising to 126, the number of airstrikes carried out by regime’s warplanes (Sukhoi and Mig) on places in the countryside of Idlib and Hama since this morning, they are: 39 on Kafr Nabudah, 33 on al-Hbit, 13 on Kabana in Jabal al-Akrad, 16 on Khan Shaykhun, 4 on Shannan in Jabal al-Zawiyah, 6  on Hish, and 2 on each of al-Faqea’, Tremla, Abdeen, al-Naqir, Kansafra, and Om al-Sir, and Ihsim, and one raid on Rakaya Sajna.

In conjunction with intensive ground shelling by the regime forces, where it rose to about 630 rocket and artillery shells since midnight of yesterday until now, they targeted places in Khan Shaykhun city, the towns of al-Hbit and Kafr Nabudah, and the villages of al-Sakhr, al-Serj, al-Zakat, al-Ziyara, and Kafr Hamra, Reef al-Mohandesin, and al-Zerba.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that  it rose to 10, the number of civilian people who were killed in the 9th day of the most violent escalation in terms of the aerial and ground bombardment within the “de-escalation” area, they are: 2 citizens in the fall of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on areas in Hish town, a girl and an elderly woman in bombing by regime’s warplanes on Shannan village in Jabal al-Zawiyah, 2 citizens in regime’s Sukhoi warplanes raids on Khan Shaykhun city, a person in the ground shelling on Khan Shaykhun, a civilian in shelling by the regime forces on places in Haraki village in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, a citizen in shelling by the regime forces on al-Zakat, a citizen was killed when warplanes opened fire of heavy machineguns targeting areas on the northern outskirts of Khan Shaykhun, the Syrian Observatory also documented the killing of 9 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them during the clashes against the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Kafr Nabudah area north of Hama, in addition to 18 fighters of the factions and Tahrir al-Sham, they were killed during shelling and clashes in the same area, including a fighter who blew himself up with a booby-trapped vehicle.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 225, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 95 civilians including 13 children and 26 citizen women, where 29 of them including 5 female children and 8 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 28 including 6 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 15 people including 4 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 72 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 58 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 18th day, to 377 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 8th of May 2019, they are 144 civilians including 26 children and 35 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 90 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 124 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 8th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 753 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 382 civilians including 96 children under the age of eighteen and 93 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 158 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 93 fighters of the “jihadis” and 213 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 983 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 463 civilians including 128 children and 105 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 225 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 108 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 295 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
