The regime forces, warplanes, and helicopters target by about 150 air and ground strikes Khan Shaykhun and al-Hbit as part of their continuous escalation after controlling Kafr Nabudah yesterday

Aerial and ground shelling intensively continue by the regime forces and warplanes as well as by Russian planes, on several areas of the southern sector of Idlib countryside, especially Khan Shaykhun city and al-Hbit town, where regime’s warplanes carried out more than 9 raids since after midnight of yesterday until now on places in Khan Shaykhun, and 7 raids on areas in al-Hbit town, they also carried out several raids on Sarjah, Mdaya, and Rakaya in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the helicopters dropped more than 8 barrel bombs on al-Hbit town, and the Russian warplanes targeted after midnight of yesterday places in Shannan, Mdaya and Sarjah, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory monitored the regime forces launching with more than 80 shells and missiles targeting several places in Khan Shaykhun city since dawn of today until now, they also targeted by more than 40 shells and missiles areas in al-Hbit town south of Idlib, which caused casualties, where the Syrian Observatory documenting the death of a civilian in the ground shelling that targeted Khan Shaykhun.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 226, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 96 civilians including 13 children and 26 citizen women, where 29 of them including 5 female children and 8 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 29 including 6 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 16 people including 4 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 72 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 58 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 18th day, to 378 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 8th of May 2019, they are 145 civilians including 26 children and 35 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 90 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 124 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 8th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 754 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 383 civilians including 96 children under the age of eighteen and 93 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 158 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 93 fighters of the “jihadis” and 213 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 984 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 464 civilians including 128 children and 105 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 225 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 108 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 295 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
