270 hours of the intense escalation: 7750 air and ground strikes displaced more than 300 thousand civilians, killed about 265 people, and the regime advances in 7 towns, villages, and a hill

The Syrian Observatory monitored clashes in places at Jabal Shashabo within the countryside of Hama, between the regime forces supported by their loyal gunmen against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions, accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting, where the regime forces were able to advance and control al-Mestriha north of al-Karakat, thus, the regime forces raised the number of areas they controlled in the past few days to 7 areas, they are: Qal’aat al-Madiq, al-Karakat, al-Twyna, Kafr Nabudah, al-Bana, Tal Osman and al-Mestriha, while the regime forces and factions are still exchanging control over Tal Hawash and Sheikh Idris in Hama countryside, also the factions regained control of the entire village of Bab al-Taqa and al-Sharia village, except for the southern part of it in which the regime forces are still present there.

In the same context, the warplanes carried out more raids this morning targeting the countryside of Idlib and Hama, where they carried out 4 raids on places in Kafrsajna town, 3 raids on the outskirts of Ihsim town, and 3 other raids on al-Samadaniyah in Sahl al-Ghab, and Kabana area in Jabal al-Akrad, also regime’s helicopter dropped 4 barrel bombs on Ma’aret Hurmah town and al-Rakaya village south of Idlib, also it rose to 7, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on al-Hbit town in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, while the regime forces continue their ground shelling through rocket and artillery shells targeting the southern countryside of Idlib and the northwestern countryside of Hama, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of a citizen affected by injuries he had in the aerial bombardment on Ma’aret Hurmah a few days ago.

And as the aerial and ground bombardment continues, it rose to 2146 airstrikes, carried out by warplanes of the Russian “guarantor” and regime’s warplanes since the 30th of April 2019, targeted serval areas in Sahl al-Ghab, Jabal Shashabo, and the southern sector of Idlib countryside, in addition to the northern sector of Hama countryside, where regime’s helicopters contributed in the largest part of this escalation and dropped 1024 barrel bombs during this period, while warplanes of the Russian “guarantor” carried out more than 540 raids and air strikes, and regime’s “Sukhoi and MIG” warplanes carried out about 582 raids loaded with missiles, in addition to the intensive and daily targeting using heavy machine guns, also the most violent escalation was not limited to the aerial bombardment, where regime’s ground forces in the same period targeted by more than 5600 shells and missile of the mortars, artillery, and missile launchers, they targeted several places within the so-called “truce” areas, and the Syrian Observatory documented a major displacement due to the heaviest escalation, where more than 300 thousand civilians have been displaced from their cities, towns, and villages in Hama and Idlib countryside, fleeing the death coming with air strikes, shells, and missiles of the regime’s ground forces.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 265, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 107 civilians including 16 children and 29 citizen women, and they are 33 including 6 female children and 9 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 22 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 33 including 7 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 18 people including 5 women and a child were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 86 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 72 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 21st day, to 417 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 11th of May 2019, they are 156 civilians including 29 children and 38 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 104 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 138 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 11th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 793 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 394 civilians including 99 children under the age of eighteen and 96 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 172 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 110 fighters of the “jihadis” and 227 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1023 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 475 civilians including 131 children and 108 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 239 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 125 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 309 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
