Regime’s warplanes and helicopters continue to fly within the “de-escalation” area and carry out tens of strikes as the heaviest escalation enters its 26th day

Regime’s warplanes carried out 4 raids on Kafr Zita town in the northern countryside of Hama, 2 raids on the vicinity of Hish, and 2 raids on Kansafra village in in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, in conjunction with targeting by the warplane with the heavy machineguns for places in al-Hbit town, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the helicopters dropping barrel bombs targeting the countryside of Idlib and Hama; as the heaviest escalation enters its 26th day within the demilitarized area of “Putin – Erdogan”, where the helicopters dropped since after midnight of yesterday more than 14 barrel bombs on al-Hbit town south of Idlib, 7 on Kafr Nabudah, 5 on Tal Ass, 5 on Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, and 2 barrels on each of al-Lataminah, Mdaya, al-Dabiyyeh, Abdeen, and the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun, while the regime forces shelled after midnight of yesterday places in the southern countryside of Aleppo, which killed a civilian and caused injuries.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 707, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, the 25th of May 2019, and they are: 219 civilians including 45 children and 43 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 26 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 87 including 12 women, 18 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 40 people including 5 women and 4 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 259 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 229 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 36th day, to 860 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 24th of May 2019, they are 269 civilians including 59 children and 54 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilian casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 277 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 295 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 25th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1236 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they  are 507 civilians including 129 children under the age of eighteen and 112 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 345 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 205 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 384 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1465 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 587 civilians including 160 children and 124 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 412 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 219 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 466 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
