In the highest toll of casualties and bombardment within Putin – Erdogan demilitarized zone…more than 1725 air and ground strikes in the 27th day of the fiercest escalation ever kill with the violent clashes about 85 persons of the regime forces and the jihadi groups and the factions

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a meeting is underway between the commanders of the major factions and those operating in Idlib, Hama, Aleppo and Latakia, they are Abu Mohammad al-Julani, Jameel Al-Saleh, Hassan Sufan, Ali Jaber, Abu Issa Al-Sheikh, Sheikh Anas Ayrout, and other commanders of Al-Sham Corps, Jaysh Al-Ahrar and other factions, in the time when the violent clashes are continuing in the eastern and north-eastern parts of Kafr Nabudah town in the northern countryside of Hama, between the factions and the jihadi groups against the regime forces backed by the militiamen loyal to them, in the frame of the ongoing attack by the latter in order to recover the town, amid violent air and ground strikes, which caused more casualties, where it rose to 45, the number of fighters of the factions and jihadi groups who were killed during the shelling and clashes in Kafr Nabudah area today, Sunday, while 37 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in the clashes and targeting operations in the same area.

While it rose to 46, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes today Sunday, which targeted Al-Hbit, Khan Shaykhun and its outskirts, Mardam, Al-Ftirah, Al-Malaja, Kafr Mouss, Baaraboo, Armania, Tremla, Kafr Sajna, Sheikh Damis and Kafr Zita, while it rose to 175, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters since after the midnight targeting both Idlib and Hama countryside, they are: 91 on Kafr Nabudah, 42 on al-Hbit, 8 on Al-Ftirah, 8 on al-Qassabiyyeh, 10 on Khan Shaykhun, and 7 on Sheikh Mustafa, 3 on Naqir, 2 on Mardam, south of Idlib, 2 barrels on Maarrat Al-Sain, and 2 barrels on Kafr Zita, also it rose to 220, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes since today’s dawn, they are: 79 on Kafr Nabudah, 42 on Al-Hbit, 28 on Khan Shaykhun and its outskirts, 16 on Kabana, 10 on Abdeen, 7 on each of Naqir and Hish, 5 on al-Qassabiyyeh, 5 on Sfuhen, and 3 raids on each of Kafr Zita, Kafr Sajna, Sheikh Mustafa, Om Zaytunah, Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Fulayfel and Tel A’as, while it rose to 1285, the number of shells and missiles which targeted separated areas in both northern and north-western countryside of Hama, the southern countryside of Idlib, in addition to Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, where Kafr Nabudah has been targeted by more than 710 shells and missiles since today’s dawn.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 814, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, the 25th of May 2019, and they are: 236 civilians including 47 children and 45 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 29 including 8 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 99 including 13 women, 20 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 42 people including 5 women and 4 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 309 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 269 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 36th day, to 967 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 26th of May 2019, they are 286 civilians including 61 children and 56 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilian casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 327 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 335 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 25th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1343 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 524 civilians including 131 children under the age of eighteen and 114 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 395 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 237 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 424 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1572 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 604 civilians including 162 children and 126 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 462 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 251 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 506 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
