The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 9th of May 2019 that the assassinations and targeting continue in Daraa Province, targeting leaders and members of the former factions that carried out “reconciliation and settlements” in addition to the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and people who cooperate with them, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the explosion of an IED after midnight of yesterday in the Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, targeting the car of the “former Free Police commander” in Daraa al-Balad, back when the factions controlled the area, where he was killed in the explosion along with another person, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 3rd of May, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that unknown gunmen believed to be from the “Popular Resistance” assassinated by a former member of “Jaysh al-Moataz” faction which carried out a “settlement and reconciliation” after the regime controlled Daraa, where the assassination took place in Tafas town in the countryside of Daraa by gunfire causing his immediate death.
