More than 900 air and ground strikes target Hama and Idlib countryside as violent clashes continue northwest Hama

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that clashes continue violently, between the Jihadi factions and fighters against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, where the clashes between both parties continue in Jalmah village at the northwestern countryside of Hama, this comes as part of a new attack by the jihadi groups, and the rebel and Islamic factions in al-Jalmah area at the northwestern countryside of Hama, after the failure of the attack on Friday, where the Jihadi groups and the factions began an intensive missile shelling by tens of missiles after this afternoon, accompanied by detonating a booby-trapped vehicle driven by a suicide bomber by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, amid rocket shelling carried out by rebel factions on regime’s positions within the clash areas, raising to 740 at least, the number of shells and missiles launched by the regime forces on Saturday targeting the southern countryside of Idlib and Jabal al-Akrad, in addition to the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory documented that it rose to 42, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes on areas in al-Zakat, Hasraya, al-Arba’in, Latmin, and Kafr Zita in the northern countryside of Hama, and Tremla and Kawkaba in Jabal Shashabo and the clash areas northwest of Hama, also it rose to 105, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes since after midnight of yesterday until now, which targeted places in Khan Shaykhun, al-Hbit, Hass, outskirts of Karsa’a, Sfuhen, Ma’aret Hurmah, Kafr Aweed in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Hasraya, Morek, al-Hbit, and Kafr Zita in the northern countryside of Hama, in addition to the clash areas northwest of Hama, and it rose to 35, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Saturday, targeting Kabani in Jabal al-Akrad, Maarrat al-Nu’man south of Idlib, and Hasraya, Abu Ra’idah, and Tal Meleh north of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that it rose to 37, the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, who were killed on Saturday during the attacks, destruction of vehicles and tanks, and clashes against the jihadi factions and groups northwest of Hama, also it rose to 28, the number of fighters including 11 of the rebel and Islamic factions, the number of fighters killed in the aerial and land bombardment and clashes northwest of Hama, this brings to 167, the number of casualties within 48 hours of violent clashes in the northwestern countryside of Hama which were accompanied by intense air and ground strikes, and they are: 90 of the regime forces and their loyal militias, and 77 fighters including 34 of the rebel and Islamic factions including Abdelbaset Sarot, the commander in Jaysh al-Izza.

Also it rose to 4, the number of people who were killed today, as a result of aerial bombardment and missile shelling on the “de-escalation” area, they are: a man and a woman were killed in bombardment by regime’s warplanes on Kafr Nubl town south of Idlib, a child was killed in bombardment by regime’s warplanes on Maarrat al-Nu’man city, and a person died in shelling by the factions on Shizer village which is under the control of the regime forces north of Hama, also 2 fighters were killed, one of whom died affected by injuries he had in missile targeting by the regime forces on Kabani area yesterday evening, and the other one was a fighter of the factions and was killed in a sniper shot by the regime forces in Abu al-Duhur area in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1300, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 8th of June 2019, and they are: 361 civilians including 87 children and 77 citizen women, and they are 49 including 15 children and 16 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 36 including 8 women and 4 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 198 including 41 women, 52 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 55 people including 8 women and 6 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 23 citizens including 10 children and 4 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 525 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 414 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 49th day, to 1450 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 8th of June 2019, they are 411 civilians including 101 children and 85 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 27 civilian casualties including 10 children and 5 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 540 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 480 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 8th of June 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1829 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 649 civilians including 171 children under the age of eighteen and 141 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 51 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 10 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 611 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 389 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 569 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 2058 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 729 civilians including 201 children and 153 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 53 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 678 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 404 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 651 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
