Rebel and jihadi factions carry out a “infiltration” operation against regime’s positions in Jabal al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Latakia, in conjunction with the continued absence of warplanes from the “de-escalation” area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that factions of the National Liberation Front as well as jihadi groups carried out a ground offensive behind sites of the regime forces, in Ain al-Ashirah in Jabal al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Latakia, which killed at least 4 members of the regime forces in addition to killing a member of the factions, and the Syrian Observatory monitored ground bombardment by more than 110 rocket shells carried out by the regime forces on areas of al-Arba’in, al-Jabin, al-Lataminah, Kafr Zita, al-Zakat, and Morek in the northern countryside of Hama, and Mar’aand west of Jisr al-Shughur city, in conjunction with the absence of regime’s warplanes and the Russian guarantor’s warplanes from the “Putin – Erdogan” area.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1661, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 16th of June 2019, and they are: 429 civilians including 103 children and 90 citizen women, and they are 52 including 16 children and 16 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 43 including 9 women and 5 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 246 including 49 women, 62 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 65 people including 10 women and 9 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 23 citizens including 10 children and 4 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 672 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling including 454 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 552 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 16th of June 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 2189 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 716 civilians including 186 children under the age of eighteen and 154 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 53 people including 21 children under the age of eighteen and 10 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 758 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 499 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 707 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 2418 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 797 civilians including 216 children and 166 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 65 people including 21 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 825 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 514 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 789 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
