8 civilian casualties are the outcome of today’s aerial and rocket bombardment which targeted “Putin – Erdogan” area…and more than 1200 air and ground strikes targeted the area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a citizen as a result of rocket shelling by the regime forces that targeted the outskirts of the villages and towns of Bdama, Maraand and Al-Najiyeh in the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur, raising to 8, the number of civilian casualties who were killed today, they are: a member of the civil defense was killed in aerial bombardment by the Russian warplanes on the outskirts of Maarrat Hurmah in the southern countryside of Idlib, a driver in the ambulance team and a male nurse were killed after being targeted by the Russian warplanes that targeted the area between Maarrat Hurmah and Sheikh Mustafa south of Idlib, 3 citizens including a woman were killed in bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Maarrat Al-Nu’man city in the southern countryside of Idlib, a citizen who was killed in aerial bombardment by the Russian warplanes on the outskirts of Kafr Nubl, and a citizen was killed as a result of rocket shelling that targeted Bdama town in Jisr Al-Shughur countryside west of Idlib.

In the same context, the Syrian Observatory monitored continued aerial and ground strikes on Idlib countryside within “Putin – Erdogan” area, where it rose to 95, the number of airstrikes carried out by the regime’s warplanes through which they targeted Khan Shaykhun, Al-Taman’aa, Tar’ei, Kafr Sajna, Hazarin, Rakaya and the clash areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, Taftanaz Military Airbase east of Idlib, IKARDA area south of Aleppo, also it rose to 54, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes on Khan Shaykhun, Al-Tah, Al-Salehiyah, Al-Taman’aa, Al-Khwayn, Al-Zarzur, Al-Helbah, Um Jalal, Sheikh Damis and Kansfra in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, while it rose to 86, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Kafr Nubl, Hass, Kafrumah, Rakaya, Basqala and the clash areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, while it rose to 1000, the number of shells and missiles launched by the regime forces on places in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, the northern countryside of Hama and Latakia mountains.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3329, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 14th of August 2019, and they are: 904 civilians including 221 children and 163 citizen women, and they are 171 including 33 children and 37 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 4 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 68 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 477 including 132 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1285 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 822 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 1140 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 14th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3857 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1189 civilians including 303 children under the age of eighteen and 227 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1373 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 866 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1297 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4087 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1272 civilians including 332 children and 241 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1438 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 878 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1377 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
