Airstrikes on pro-Iran positions near Syria-Iraq border

Airstrikes attributed to Israel hit an area near the Syrian border on Tuesday between Abukamal, Syria and Qaim, Iraq, the same area where similar strikes attributed to Israel took place 10 days ago, targeting pro-Iranian bases and militia convoys, said Iraqi broadcaster Sumariya, which is close to the Syrian government, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

The town of Herri was hit a year and a half ago by airstrikes attributed to Israel in which more than 55 pro-Iranian militants were killed.
