The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling carried out today evening by the regime ground forces targeting the areas of Kafr Sajna and Maarrat Hurmah in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with the overflight of a reconnaissance drone in the skies of the area, and the SOHR documented during this day, the death of 3 fighters of the rebel factions and the injury of 2 others, due to bombardment by the Russian warplanes on Kafr Nubl town in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the Russian warplanes renewed the bombing on the “de-escalation” area targeting Hazarin town in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with the flight of reconnaissance drones over the area, where this comes in the context of the continuous Russian escalation since the 16th of October 2019, and in the same context, violent clashes broke out for the 5th day in a row in Kabani area in Latakia countryside, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the Islamic and jihadi factions, amid exchange of artillery and missile shelling on positions of control.
