Russian – Turkish Forces run a joint patrol the third of its kind north and northeast of Syria, and people of Qahtaniyah countryside face it with stones and vegetables

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a joint Russian – Turkish patrol, consists of 4 Russian and Turkish armored vehicles, started from Deir Ghosn area in al-Qahtaniyah countryside towards Malkiyyeh countryside at the border strip, and sources told the Syrian Observatory that residents in villages of al- Qahtaniyah countryside threw the patrol with stones and vegetables, it is also noteworthy that the patrol is the third of its kind, and comes in accordance with the Russian – Turkish agreement on the safe area north and northeast of Syria, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 5^th of November 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a joint Turkish – Russian patrol run in Ayn al-Arab city (Kobani) and its eastern countryside, and sources told the Syrian Observatory that several residents of the city threw stones at the patrol, as an expression of their displeasure with the Russian – Turkish agreement on the “safe area”, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a new joint Russian – Turkish patrols are expected to run on Tuesday, where the Syrian Observatory received information about the possibility of running a joint patrol in Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) countryside from the side of Tal Abyad area, in addition to al-Darbasiyah countryside at the border with Turkey at noon on Tuesday, days after running the first patrol between both parties, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 1st of November 2019 that the Russian – Turkish patrol ended its first tour at the border with Turkey in the country of Amuda and al-Darbasiyah, and in the details monitored by the Observatory for the first patrol of the Russian – Turkish agreement: the patrol set off from Shirik village in al-Darbasiyah countryside and toured the patrol in villages of al-Darbasiyah, and other villages of Amuda about 10 km deep but Without entering al-Darbasiyah or Amuda towns, sources of the Syrian Observatory reported that residents of several villages received the patrol by throwing vegetables and garbage at them, to express their rejection of the Turkish – Russian agreement, before the patrol returned to its starting center in Shirik village and from there to the Turkish territory.
