Barrel bombs target Latakia countryside along with shelling by the Islamic factions on position of the regime forces in Idlib countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of a member of the regime forces in exchange of targeting and clashes between the regime forces and their loyal gunmen against the Islamic Factions, in the area of Khan Shaykhun city.

The Syrian Observatory monitored a 130 mm artillery piece of the regime forces, destroyed by a guided missile fired by the rebel factions today afternoon on Tal Al-Nimr area in the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun.

Meanwhile, the Islamic factions shelled positions of the regime forces in Al-Jadoia, Um Al-Halahil and Al-Khwayn south-east of Idlib.

In connection to this, the helicopters returned to target Latakia countryside, where 2 helicopters flew over the area and dropped their load of barrel bombs, bringing the number of barrels dropped today to 12.

While the warplanes are absent from the airspace amid cautious calm prevailing the 4 sectors of the “de-escalation” zone interrupted by shells fall near the clash areas in the countryside of Hama, Idlib and Latakia.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4392, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 8th of November 2019, and they are: 1120 civilians including 277 children and 201 citizen women, and they are 253 including 51 children and 48 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 549 including 157 children, 93 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 149 people including 26 women and 25 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 81 citizens including 26 children and 15 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1762 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1149 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1508 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 8th of November 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4918 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1403 civilians including 358 children under the age of eighteen and 265 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 107 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1850 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1184 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1665 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5151 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1486 civilians including 387 children and 279 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 108 people including 31 children and 20 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1917 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1286 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1748 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
