The countryside of Latakia witnesses clashes and an infiltration attempt by the regime forces in conjunction with bombardment by warplanes of the Russian guarantor on Idlib countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes on Kabani area in Latakia countryside.

They followed an infiltration attempt by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them in the area of Tallat Al-Zwayqat east of Kabana village, but the jihadi factions resisted it and thwarted their advancement attempt.

In the same context, the Russian warplanes renewed their raids on the vicinity of Kafr Nubl, Al-Rami, Kafr Sajnah, Hass, the outskirts of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Maarrat Hurmah, Al-Mshirfah, the outskirts of Mardikh, the southern outskirts of Saraqib town, the vicinity of Kafr Nuble, Al-Dar Al-Kaberah, Kafr Shalaya, Hazarin, Sheikh Salman and Rakaya Sajna in Idlib countryside, as well as the outskirts of Darat Izza and the Regiment 111 in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the area of Kabani in Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, raising the number of their today’s raids to 36.

In the same context, the regime forces carried out 16 raids today afternoon, on areas in Jisr Al-Shughur city, al-Z’einiyyeh village and Bdama in the western countryside of Idlib, and the area of Kabani north of Latakia.

While the helicopters dropped 12 explosive barrels targeting Latakia countryside.

Also the regime ground forces shelled towns in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, southern countryside of Aleppo, the northern countryside of Latakia, and Hama, raising to 330 shells fired on the abovementioned areas during this day.

SOHR documented the killing of a member of the regime forces in exchange of targeting and clashes between the regime forces and their loyal gunmen against the Islamic Factions, in the area of Khan Shaykhun city south of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory monitored a 130 mm artillery piece of the regime forces, destroyed by a guided missile fired by the rebel factions today afternoon on Tal Al-Nimr area in the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun.

Meanwhile, the Islamic factions shelled positions of the regime forces in Al-Jadoia, Um Al-Halahil and Al-Khwayn south-east of Idlib.
