The Turkey-loyal factions continue to abuse Afrin’s people through raids, new arbitrary arrests, theft, and looting of more private property

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the factions of Operation “Olive Branch” continue their violations against the people in Afrin city and its countryside from looting, arrest, clamping down to force those who remain there to leave, and in this context, reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that a military group for “al-Hamza Division” raided al-Basutah village in Afrin countryside, and arrested 4 people from the village from their homes and took them to a prison in the city center of Afrin, without explaining the reasons and motives of the arrest until now, and the Syrian Observatory learned that members of the Turkey-loyal “Ahrar al-Sharqiyyah” faction cut down thousands of “forest” trees near “Msikah Foqani” village of Jandairis Township in the Afrin countryside, where the faction’s gunmen are cutting down trees and selling them as “wood for heating”, in addition to continuing cutting down thousands of trees near “Jobata” village in Jandairis area as well.
