Hundreds of air and ground strikes pound rural Aleppo leaving over 30 jihadis dead or injured

18 fighters of jihadi factions were killed and 15 others were injured in today’s aerial Russian bombardment and regime ground forces fire on the western countryside of Aleppo.

The regime forces continue their aerial and artillery shelling on the western countryside of Aleppo, targeting Khan Al-Asal, Al-Rashideen, the area of the scientific research center and Kafr Naha.

In connection to this, Russian warplanes carried out intensive raids on the “de-escalation” zone, targeting Khan Al-Assal, Kafr Naha, Anjara and Jam’eyyat Al-Kahrabaa in the western countryside of Aleppo, and Maarrat Al-Nu’man city and frontline areas in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

Accordingly, the number of today’s Russian airstrikes rose to 51, through which they targeted Uwayjil, Kafr Naha, Atarib and its vicinity, Anjara, Al-Qasimiyah, Kafr Halab, Darat Izza, Sallum, Al-Kammari and Kafr Nuran, Khan Al-Assal and Jam’eyyat Al-Kahrabaa.

The Jihadi factions managed to take control of Tal Msaytif and Tal Khatra villages in Idlib countryside after fierce clashes.

Moreover, the military operation in Idlib countryside is continuing under command of Russian officers, leaving more casualties among the regime soldiers and the rebel and jihadi factions. The Syrian Observatory activists documented the killing of 24 members of the regime forces in clashes on the eastern countryside of Idlib, also 18 factions, including 12 of the Jihadis, were killed in the ground and air bombardment and fierce clashes.

The Observatory activists documented the killing of two children in Russian bombardment on Kafr Naha town in Aleppo countryside, in addition to the death of a civilian affected by the injury he had two days ago in bombardment by regime warplane on Idlib city. Also a civilian was killed in the factions’ fire on Aleppo neighborhoods.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1,618, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, and they are: 399 civilians including 107 children and 72 citizen women, and they are 143 including 45 children and 24 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including three women and seven children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 117 including 21 children 19 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 92 people including 23 women and 28 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 26 citizens including six children and three women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 584 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 428 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 635 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

It rose to at least 5,719, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, and they are: 1,444 civilians including 367 children and 258 citizen women, and they are 369 including 89 children and 67 women, and nine of the civil defense and six of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 109 including 22 women and 22 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 655 including 176 children, 109 women, and six members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 206 people including 43 women and 48 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 106 citizens including 32 children and 17 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 2,249 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1,515 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 2,026 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today; the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 6,245 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1,727 civilians including 448 children under the age of eighteen and 322 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 132 people including 35 children under the age of eighteen and 21 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2,335 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1,547 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 2,183 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 6,479 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1,810 civilians including 475 children and 336 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 133 people including 35 children and 22 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2,402 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1,651 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 2,267 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
