Child killed as an old ISIS landmine explodes in rural Deir ez-Zor

The Syrian Observatory documented the death of a child in an old landmine explosion planted by ISIS in Al-Bahra town in in rural Deir ez-Zor.

Yesterday, SOHR reported that a young man and six children were injured, two in a serious condition, as a result of an old cluster bomb explosion left over from the bombardment on Dara Azza city, west of Aleppo.

SOHR has documented since January 2019 to date 245 fatalities, including 65 women and 69 children killed by landmines, unexploded bombs and collapse of war-damage residential buildings in various Syrian areas and cities such as Homs, Hama, Deir ez-Zor, Aleppo and southern Syria.
