Fierce clashes erupt in rural Al-Hasakah after Turkish introductory artillery fire on the area. Human and material losses reported

A military vehicle affiliated to the Turkish-backed factions was targeted by a guided missile in the area of Bab Al-Khair, near Al-Asadiyah town in Ras Al-Ain countryside. The targeting left a rebel of the factions dead and injured another one.

Syrian Observatory activists monitored a prelude with heavy artillery fire from the Turkish territory on Khadrawi and Tal Mohammed villages in the countryside of “Abu Rasin”, north of Al-Hasakah.

In connection to this, regime forces and Syriac Military Council targeted movements of Turkish-backed factions in the area. Meanwhile fierce clashes erupted between the Turkish-backed factions and Syriac Military Council in Al-Nuwayhat village and Al-Asadiyah, leaving many civilians injured and causing damage to their houses.

With the fall of more casualties, the death toll among the Syria Democratic Forces, military councils and internal security forces since the start of the Turkish military operation on the 9th of October 2019 have risen to 445.

SOHR also documented the death of 29 members of the regime forces as a result of a missile targeting by the Turkish-backed factions on the areas of north-west of Manbij and the east of Ayn Issa town in positions of the regime forces’ deployment.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths among Syrian factions loyal to Ankara and the pro-Turkey cells killed in the attacks and clashes against the SDF during the same period reached 365, including 21 of the cells loyal to Ankara killed in clashes with the SDF, in addition to 11 Turkish soldiers were killed during the battles, amid information about more dead Turks on the Turkish-Syrian border.

The number of those killed is likely to rise due to the high number of wounded some of whom are in serious condition.
