Regime and Russian new military operation forces more than 120,000 civilians to flee from rural Aleppo and Idlib, amid international silence towards worsening of the humanitarian disaster
Syrian Observatory activists report that displacement of the remaining residents continue from cities, towns and villages of Jabal al-Zawiya, western rural Ma’rat al-Numan, Saraqeb town and rural and its surroundings, in addition to continued displacement from the western countryside of Aleppo.
The number of civilians forced to flee has increased since Wednesday 15 From this month, to nearly 120,000 people as part of the policy of forced displacement by Russia and the Syrian regime by escalating air and ground bombing to push civilians out of their areas so they can start a ground military operation as happened earlier in Idlib and Hama, and there are tens of thousands of people displaced during this period, originally displaced from Idlib, Hama and other Syrian areas to the western countryside of Aleppo.
The exodus is taking place to areas controlled by Turkish forces and Syrian loyalist factions in rural Aleppo, and to the northwestern countryside of Idlib near the Syrian border with Iskenderun Brigade, as the humanitarian disaster worsens, whether in camps or towns and villages in the northern and north-western Idlib countryside, with total disregard by the international community of Russia and Syrian regime crimes against civilians there and what the Syrian civilians are experiencing, whether in the camps or in their search for a new safe place amid rising prices and greed of merchants of war, while Turkey only shows sympathy towards the humanitarian crisis on its media at a time when the Turkish border guards continue targeting and killing Syrians those who try to cross into Turkish territory.
As the wave of displacement continues upwards, the number of displaced people since the beginning of December, rising to some 505,000 civilians, flee from the southern, eastern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, as well as the western countryside of Aleppo.
