Regime forces are one kilometre away from Aleppo-Latakia international highway west of Saraqeb town

Multiple sources confirmed to the SOHR that the death toll of civilians, who have been killed in Russian airstrikes on western rural Aleppo, rose to 12 civilians, were killed by Russian jets since the morning, nine people, including four children and three women were killed in shelling of displaced people’s car in Jamiyet Al Rahal, and two persons were killed as a result of the shelling near Kafrnaha, and a displaced woman from rural Hama was killed as a result of shelling on Jamiyet Al Arman. The death toll is expected to rise as there are wounded, some in serious condition.

Regime forces were able to make a new advance in rural Saraqeb town, capturing the village of Tarnaba west of the town, after clashes with local fighters from the area.

Therefore, regime forces have reached, for the first time since the start of military operation, a distance of nearly one km away from Aleppo – Latakia international highway known as M4 road.

Moreover, violent clashes continue between regime forces, factions and jihadists on the al-Sahafiyeen frontline west of Aleppo and Khalsa frontline south of the city, with intensive airstrikes by regime and Russian jets on various areas of southern and western rural Aleppo, and the eastern and south-eastern rural Idlib.

The number of areas that have been captured by regime forces, since Friday evening 24th of this month, rose to 54, (Telmans, Ma’ar Shmasha, Dier Sharqi, Dier Gharbi, Ma’arshamarin, Ma’rata, Al-Ghadfa, Marshourin, Al-Za’alana, Al-Dana, Tal Al-Sheikh, Sawami’e, Khirbet Mzayan, Masaran, Bsida and Taqana, Babolin, Kafr Bassin, Ma’arhatat, Hamidia, Dar es Salaam, Salhiya, Kafruma, Ma’rat al-Numan, Wadi Al-Dayif, Hantotin, al-Jarada, Ruwayha, Qahiriya, Ain Halban, Tal al-Dibis, Khan al-Sobul and Ma’ardabsi, Tal Mardikh, Jobas, Hertamia, Qamhana, Abu-Jreif, Tal Khatra, Tal Mastif, Al Kana’yes, Karsian, Hish, Kafrmazda, Jabala, Mouqa, Amoudia, Armanya, Kafrbatikh, Dadikh, Luf, Anqrati, Jobas, Sinan, Zakar and Tarnaba.)
