After the factions withdrew, regime forces advance controlling 6 areas in rural Aleppo and more than 80 airstrikes target the “de-escalation” area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented today the death of a displaced citizen from the eastern countryside of Idlib in artillery shelling targeted the random camps in the vicinity of Tal al-Karama.

In the same context, the regime and militiamen loyal to them have taken control of the Saadia village “Jam’eyyat al-Amin” and Aajel village, while clashes are taking place in Ewijel village in the western countryside of Aleppo.

In the same context, the factions withdrew from the areas north of al-Rashedin in addition to al-Mansoura, also violent clashes took place led to regime’s control over Jam’eyyat al-Kahraba’a and Police School.

Thus, the regime forces have controlled in the past few hours and days 84 areas in the southern and western countryside of Aleppo, while the factions thwarted an advancement attempt by the regime forces in the strategic area of Sheikh Aqeel, and if it falls, then the towns of Hayan, Huraytan, and Anadan in the northern countryside of Aleppo, also the number of raids carried out by Russian warplanes on Aleppo and Idlib countryside has risen to 84.

The Syrian Observatory documented more casualties in the heavy air and ground shelling and violent clashes, where 21 members of the regime forces and loyalists were killed today, and 28 fighters including 20 jihadi were also killed.

Observatory activists also documented gross human losses in the ranks of both warring forces who have been killed in bombardment and fierce clashes since the evening of the 24th of January 2020, they are 450 jihadis among 605 opposition fighters were killed so far, in addition to the killing of 542 of the regime soldiers and loyalists including 10 of the Iran-loyal militias.
