Turkish-backed factions’ artillery shells west of Manbij, leaving injuries among regime soldiers

Activists told SOHR that Turkish-backed factions have shelled the villages of Al-Sayyada, Asaliya, Um Adaseh, Al-Farat, Al-Dandaniya and Um Jaloud, west of Manbij, which are controlled by SDF.

Exodus of civilians have been seen from those villages to nearby areas. The shelling caused material damage, and five regime soldiers were injured after shelling their positions there.

On February 14, the Syrian Observatory reported that Turkish forces fired three flares in Um Wartheh, north of Manbij.

On February 13, Observatory sources have reported that Turkish-backed factions, based in the village of Sheikh Nasser, carried out shelling targeting the village of Qurat Wiran, southwest of Manbij city of eastern Aleppo countryside. No casualties were reported.

On February 4, The Syria Democratic Forces repelled an attack carried out by Turkish-backed factions near Tal al-Sayyada northwest of Manbij.

Turkish-backed factions shelled al-Arima frontline around Kor Hiyok village.

The Syrian Observatory documented the killing of a regime soldier by Turkish-backed factions’ sniper in al-Tokhar frontline.
