Unidentified gunmen assassinate leader in SDF’s ‘Jaysh Al-Thowwar’, north-east of Aleppo

The Syrian Observatory monitored a new assassination in areas held by SDF and its affiliated factions, where unknown assailants assassinated a leader in ”Jaysh Al-Thowwar” affiliated with SDF, shooting him after they chased after him on the road of Sarin – Manbij north-east of Aleppo, another leader was injured as well.

The number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and officials in service agencies who were assassinated in four provinces: Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah, in addition to Manbij area in northeastern Aleppo province, which is controlled by SDF, increased to 439 persons.

The Syrian Observatory documented the assassination of 141 civilians by armed cells, including eight children and five women in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and countryside and Manbij, in addition to the assassination of 291 fighters of SDF, including local leaders in the same areas, while four members of the International Coalition were killed, dozens of wounded were also reported by SOHR as a result of those assassinations.
