Daraa deteriorating security: two civilians shot dead in Daraa Al-Balad

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported seeing security build up in Da’al city center in rural Daraa, along with shops being closed and regime security and police being on high alert manning posts and checkpoints .

Separately, SOHR activists have documented the killing of two civilians in Daraa Al-Balad after being shot by unknown assailants.

The number of attacks and assassination attempts took place in various forms and methods by detonating bombs, mines, booby-trapped cars, and firing with light and medium weapons, since June 2019 until today, rose to more than 326, raising in turn the number of people killed in the same period to 215: 45 civilians including five women and four children, 110 of the regime forces, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services, 35 fighters of the faction who carried out “reconciliation and settlements” and became in the ranks of regime’s security branches, including former commanders, 16 Syrian militiamen affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian forces, and six members of the so-called 5th Corps which was established by Russia.
