“Jandarma” tortures a Syrian citizen tried to enter Turkey and throw him to drown in Assi River

Turkish border guards continue to commit crimes against the Syrians who are fleeing the horrors of war, the Syrians who are seeking security have long lost because of the Syrian regime and the Russian “guarantor”.

Sources of the Syrian Observatory have reported that the Turkish border guards “Jandarma,” had tortured a citizen from Hama countryside after he and the smugglers passed the Assi River at the border with Iskenderun west of Idlib, where the “Jandarma” throw him in the river although he tried to tell them that he does not know how to swim.

His body is still missing in the Assi River.

Rescue teams have been searching for him for two days now.

According to what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented, the number of Syrian civilians killed by the Jandarma forces since the start of the Syrian revolution has risen to 444, including 78 children under the age of eighteen, and 44 women over the age of eighteen.
