After Sanamin, regime forces prepare for a military operation in Jasim city ‎

Daraa province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored today the arrival of military reinforcements for the regime forces‎, in the vicinity of Jasim city ‎ in rural Daraa, the regime forces also put heavy artilleries on the hills of Metweq and Om Horan.

In the same context, sources of the Syrian Observatory reported days ago that tens of dignitaries from Jasim city ‎and its countryside were called.

According to the Syrian Observatory’s information, the regime forces have requested the weapons in the area to be handed over.

The dignitaries, however, proposed giving a time limit of ten days ‎ for handing the weapons over or breaking into the city.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 2nd of March ‎2020 that 21 people from al-Sanamin city and ‎those who refused the new settlement with the ‎regime forces by Russian mediation; have been displaced to northwestern Syria, and those wishing to stay had their ‎situation settled‎.‎

It worth mentioning that al-Sanamin city did not ‎enter a reconciliation and situation settlement ‎‎of the opposition faction fighters‎ before, ‎because the regime forces controlled it before ‎the beginning of the reconciliation deals.‎
