Calm continues in “Putin-Erdogan” area for the eighth day since new ceasefire came into effect

Calm prevails in all sectors of the “de-escalation zone”, stretching from Aleppo countryside to Latakia countryside through Idlib and Hama, for the eighth day since the new ceasefire came into effect.

Hours earlier, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored artillery shelling by regime forces positions in southern Idlib countryside, targeting the town of Kansafra in Jabal al-Zawiya.

On the other hand, regime forces reopened Damascus-Aleppo international highway, at the complex of Ma’arhatat in Idlib countryside, removing the cement blocks that the Turkish post used previously to cut off the international road to prevent regime military columns from passing.
